Welcome!  Please know that all of your donations are TAX  DEDUCTIBLE and you will receive a receipt for your contributions.  Please read below to learn more about our mission.  Amy B. Silverman’s Bridging the Gap Foundation will thrive in helping many families who are in need.

Each of us will probably have a family member or close friend who needs added assistance in their lives due to Cancer.  Please donate through this website to support the Bridging The Gap Foundation.  Our foundation is dedicated to aiding those who have been unfortunately stricken with cancer.  Established by Amy B. Silverman and her friends/family, we will help people “Bridge the Gap” between employment and disability benefits.  The inability to retain employment and support one’s family due to cancer and its treatments can be an added devastation to an already tragic life circumstance.  When it takes six to eight months after employment income ends before any assistance is available, families not only lose loved ones, they lose their homes and security as well.  We want to stop this unbelievable cycle!  Please consider donating to help a family in need from having their heat turned off, their refrigerator bare, or their house foreclosed.  Imagine having minimal or no health / life / disability insurances; the debts for hospitals and doctors alone are enough to break a family’s savings instantly.  All recipients are supported with direct payments made from Bridging the Gap Foundation to the families’ debtors.  Please lend a helping hand for someone less fortunate.  Join our family tree and become part of something incredibly meaningful & fulfilling.  Thank you for taking this time to explore and help those in true need!
